Welcome to Roatan Ocean Adventures. We are a locally owned tour operating company dedicated to providing our
customers a memorable experience while learning about the beautiful island of Roatan from born and raised islanders. Roatan Ocean Adventures was founded in 2008 by Herbert Woods as a way to share his love for the ocean. Herbert was
born and raised in the small town of French Cay, and has had the opportunity to explore Roatan, Guanaja and Utila to the
fullest and has taken those experiences to create the ultimate excursion packages the island has to offer. He has spent his
entire life in the water, snorkeling, diving, fishing and learning all about our reef and ecosystem. He has also been
instrumental in protecting the reef in the French Cay Harbor and bringing back marine and coral species that have not been
seen in years. There are many tour operating companies on Roatan but what makes us different is the love and passion we have for the ocean as well as how we incorporate education and history with a lot of fun. Our Team consists of all native islanders who enjoy what they do and want to make your time in Roatan an unforgettable adventure no matter what excursion you decide is the perfect one for you!
